North Ga. scenic drives?

Just got back in from my second Blood Mtn drive since Bob got a group together earlier this year. Any other nice drives north of Atl?

There's a lot of good routes you can pick from, several of which you could easily extend from the Blood Mtn run. The ride to Brasstown Bald is nice especially in the fall. Richard Russel Scenic Hwy branches off Hwy 180 on the way to Brasstown. Unicoi Gap north of Helen then over to Hwy 441 is good. Further west try Hwy 53 out of Dawsonville, 183 to Ellijay then Hwy 52 to Chatsworth. There's a road that cuts off 183 before the Amicalola split that goes over Burnt Mtn that looks fun but I've never tried it. If you want anymore ideas let me know what you're interested in and I'll try to plan you a good ride. Hope this helps.
Gotta get my car done so I can get back out there.

If you're like a lot of people you may be a little disappointed in the Dragon. It's fun to drive occasionally but I'll take Blood Mtn any day. The big plus is the company you'll be with. Ed puts together a great trip. Lots of food, beautiful scenery and you couldn't ask for a better group of people to be riding with. Have fun and post lots of pics.
