We really have been slacking the last three months.
So February we better be on with a bang.
We might also be joined by Phil from Germany, currently residing in Simpsonville and very interested in building a Coupe.
So, post and let me know if we are on.
Should we change it to the first Thursday of each month to better remember?
Suggestions welcome.
Cheers,
Chris (ZGerman)

I'm good for any date or day.
If I don't arrive, it is because life and schedules got in the way.
1st Thursday is fine.
We do need to organize an Upstate Gathering for the Spring (gathering, drive, food, etc) and contact all those here to see if we can't generate a level of interest. We have many owners close by who never attend.
I'm not interested in a Club, but perhaps just an e-mail list which would reach those who are interested. The responses to Forum posts are such that you can not really tell the level of interest and difficulties in attending.
Maybe we can discuss that when you pick a date.

Isn't Dale off to another country servicing air planes?
Anyway. Two is company. Three is a crowd.
I should be hungry in February, if not before.
We mailed a Tonneau Cover to Sweden last week and I almost called you for some international monetary transfer guidance.

Great day for a ride, was warm in SC today ,a little cool coming back up the mountain but all in all a great day, What is surprising is I didn't see another Cobra out today at all in SC with so many in Greenville.. We don't get many 60+ days up here in late Jan.
Thanks Rick for another great ride to the lake and out in the country...
Not sure if we should really move it to te first Thursday of each month because some are too used to the second on.
Any reservations to stick with Feb 9?
I know I am going back bad forth, just saying.
Roll Call for Feb 9!
If worst than feb 2 we stay at feb 2.
Got two new guys in the area who I hope will come too (GTM ad future Coupe).
Chris

Kay and I did get out yesterday in the Wrangler as we planned a little gravel road trip to the Jocassee Gorges.
After a little exploration there we moved back down to Rocky Bottom on 178 and took the paved road up to Sassafras Mountain. Great new observation platform there. Then we headed out the other side to 276, across Caesars Head and back home.
Those were great roads for a later Cobra trip.

I'm keeping an eye on these posts. I'll be joining you all soon. I'm in fort mill which is a little ways away but for a once a month meeting it'd be worth the trip.

We chose Thurs nights as not to interfear with all the other events and car shows cruisins etc etc. that happens on the weekends. We use it as a means to get together socialize and plan other events and cruises that we can do on the weekends. Plus it is a chance to take our wives out for a dinner once a month. We hope you can make it. If not we can be sure you get any info on any plans we make.
