As far as roller ready, and fully roller...

Early production, 1994 351w's were shipped roller ready, in other words, the engine was cast/formed to accept hydraulic lifters and cam, but was built using solid equipment.

This is still desirable, and nothing wrong with it at all, especially for you guys who are going to do a FULL build up and replace the oem ford cam, lifters, rods, and rocker arms.

If you want a Hydraulic Roller engine that you want to swap a cam into and roll on down the road with, you'll need a '95 or newer.
