I might be able to make the 28th, but not quite sure yet.
What about that one Scott TS40 put together 2 years ago. It went something like:
Cornwall Bridge.....Ellsworth(?)Farm for cider doughnuts.... past Lime Rock...up Rt7 to eat at the Rt 7 Grill.......then down into Winstead....and home from there.

Just throwing ideas out there.
I'm in. That was a good run. Anything along those line would work well.
Not sure Carl can get us permission to park at the Post Office anymore!

We did the Hopkins Inn one year too, and that was nice.

OK, so sounds like many are up for a drive in the northwest part of the state. How about we pick a meeting point and time and then we can all throw our suggestions out and go from there. Scott's route 2 years ago was great and Tiffany and I have been back for the cider donuts many times since. Anyone opposed to downtown Kent at say around 10am so we can decide over a cup of coffee?
Hope this tropical issue down near the Bahamas stays clear so we have some nice weather.

Looks like Saturday may be the better day. Is that an option?

Tiffany has a committment in morning but that just ties us up. If it is the better day for all, go for it..... Looks like Hurricane Sandy has a high potential of impacting eastern seaboard of US so we need to focus on getting some ride time in this weekend.

10am sunday, kent center, we decide the rest from there. Weather does not look like it will move in, if it does, until Monday.
