There is a track club USA autox at Ft devens on ocotber 13, Pat is good enough to set up a Factory Five class just for our cars(and one ERA replica of a FFR). It would be great to see a real cobra showing at this event. For those of you who haven't autox'ed there is no better and safer way to really get to know your car and to have an absolute adrenaline charged blast. All you need is your car and a helmet and if you don't have a helmet let me know and we'll try to get a few together for those who don't.
It's only $55 to sign up and can be done at motorsportsreg.com

Good to see you on the signup list Steve did you sell the vette or are you just happier racing with a ford product.
John X2 hopefully we'll see you guys there its been a while since we had a good cobra showing at one of these events. The Viper guys have been showing up in force at some of Pat's other events so it will be nice to not be out numbered(but never out driven)
The rest of you guys sitting on the fence sign up you can't hurt your car and you will be hooked once you see what these cars can do.

All I need to get my car ready is the front end alignment.
I have not had any time to play with it.
There is also an event this Sunday......
Are you racing Sunday John?

I Used to have a Whitby built Challenge car and a 390FE powered MK4 Roadster...now the ex wife has a Whitby Challenge car and 390 Mk4 !
That would be great mark one of your previous builds(spec racer) has made it to several events this season.

So there are 47 posts on the Mohawk leaf peeping cruise thread and only a handful of posts on this tread. Maybe FFR needs to come up with a 4 cylinder roadster with cupholders to focus moire on their primary customer base

I don't think I am driving it up, its going to be a cold morning.
It looks like it is going to be on the trailer for the ride up.
Weenie, you built the car to drive it not to have it sit on a trailer for an hour ride.
Should be a perfect day for autoxing, looking forward to seeing you guys.

No heat either
Well my car doesn't have heat either.....but it does have a roof. I also bought one of those Harbor Freight plug in heaters so if you see a burning vehicle on the side of 495 on the way up, stop by and pick me up .
Typical Fox Mustang failed heater core. I don't feel like pulling the dash and discharging the great working a/c to fix a heater for a car I never drive when it's cold (except for this Saturday...).
For upgrades, I have the correct rear springs to match the torque arm. Thats it. My first autocross of the year as well

Maybe you should talk to Dave at FF about the Factory Five trailer option for you hard nose autocross types
We need cupholders to travel in our cars for 8 hours, anyone can go 1 minute and a half with out a drink
Just kidding have some fun and post the results.

Good Job!
When I blow past you at cruising speed, don't get all sideways
As you recall, that's about 80. I'll be the one with the top and windows and heat!
I'll be there to help you unload

Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement.
I had my car aligned for the first time today. (after some odd 700 or so miles on the car) Nothing radical - 1/32" toe, 4 Caster and - .5 Camber.
At least I know I'm not hurting my tires.
