October 12th Vermont/ Mohawk Trail Ride
My title date is off by one day. It is the 13th of October. We are fast filling the calendar with fall events so I am jumping on the schedule now for planning. Saturday, October 13th will be the day. The plan will be to kick off at the "stump" again on the Mohawk Trail and head out from there. The loop this year might be a bit higher up in VT on route 100 North, as traffic is historically lighter up there. Lunch likely at the Saloon in West Dover again. Parking there is very good and Adam the owner vows to always take good care of us. Route 100 is one of the top 5 driver's routes in the US so the plan will be to stay on that after lunch, heading North. Likely a loop up 100, to 30/ 11, south on route 7 to Bennington or the Mohawk Trail, then back East. I might have a "scouting run" up there in the next few weeks to finalize the route.
