If you put a plan together I'll do my best to fit in. It'll be a fun day, maybe we can stay dry this year.

Great, yes hoping for a dry weekend for sure
OK let's see who else is interested.
In years past we met at the 99 restaurant parking lot in Salem off exit 1.
Usually meet by 6-6:30 & leave at 6:30
Get to BK parking lot on Rte 24 in Bridgewater MA around 8 AM
Ride in with other groups from there

Alternate route from Nashua Area is 3 south
to 95 south to 24 south
Get to BK parking lot on Rte 24 in Bridgewater MA around 8 AM

routes depend upon who is joining us and where we are located

If I get permission to drive from my Suregeon by then I'll be heading down to Nashua the night before. So I'll be down that way. Not near exit 1 though. I'd have to meet you somewhere else.

If I can get my brakes sorted out by then, I only live a mile or two from the 99

Paul hope you get clearance!
We could probably link up on 93 just south of the 495/93 intersection in Andover if you leave Nashua around 6 and we leave Salem at 6:30 ..... keep me posted on your status

How about a 6AM meet at McDonald's. A couple of burritos will tide me over until Dave starts the hot dog giveaway.

Hi Joe,
I think everyone is on "auto-pilot" for the parking lot at the 99. It's been 2 years since I've made this trip (I was slow to rebuild the cobra after my son's short "ride") I don't know if you have made this ride from Salem before but when we stop at the rest area on Rte 24 in MA we can gas up & grab some food & stuff there... please feel free to grab some chow at McDonalds & then hook up with us at the 99 lot... sometimes we have donut holes while we are waiting for 6:30 start time.

Weather, what weather?

Joe,
I just checked NOAA website 7:53 AM and looks like sunny & comfortable for Saturday and Sunday from Concord to Wareham.... 20% chance of rain today so I'm watching to see what 80% chance of no rain looks like today

Who besides my wife thinks I'm crazy to make the 86 mile trip to FFR the maiden voyage? Just finished new pad install and no time to bed them in. Only 10 miles on the car and I haven't had time to see if anything fell off...

Icon24 Its you call Joe

OK everything is brand new and how many of these buggers have you built?
I've heard this is not your first rodeo so I'm betting you did it right.
The brakes should be OK if you're not racing ... and they'll be seated by the time you get home!
As far a stuff falling off the car, you can give everything a once-over and if its tight then what the heck it should stay.
But Joe it's your call... this is a fun ride and its a great time....plus free hot dogs!
Hope you decide to hook up with us Saturday at 6

Drew

Drew,
You could always follow Joe and catch anything that falls off.
If I recall, you have some experience with parts falling off cars.

Gratz, I would gladly volunteer to bring you a few hot dogs, but I can't guarantee their safety once they get into the car with me.
