What?!? You built a car that will break down??

When it breaks, I will be humbled.

But until then,

The part that breaks will be the part you helped with, the rest will be fine.

Hence the "will be humbled" part.

Unhappy No vacancy at the inn

Just tried to book but they have no more standard rooms available so I guess I will be calling every week to see about cancellations. I cannot believe they do not have a waiting list!!!

David,

Don't let that stop you from attending. There's a zillion hotels in the area. Right across the street is a nice one (forget the name but you can google it) and you can leave your car on the front lawn of the Ft with all the other cars.

The "Lake George Bed and Breakfast" is a short walk away. If B & B's are good for you this place is nice. We have stayed there several times. Every year there have been several cobra couples there. The breakfasts are fantastic.

My plans exactly, except we are probably stopping in VT on the way home for a couple of days at my girlfriends favorite B&B

Is there an official place to register? I have a room at the Fort and we will be arriving on Thursday from Lewes Delaware. There is also a car from New Hope PA that will be attending.

I cancelled our rooms. Probably not going to make it this year now. I had a month and half off due to my surgery, so can't take the time from work. They would probably fire me if I asked for more time off now.... Once I a back to work I will tryt to switch with someone possibly but doubt it.

Just so you know the Quality Inn across the street from the Fort still had a few rooms. $171.00 per night for two queen beds.
The Fort still has rooms in the main part of the Inn for $214.00 MT View rooms and $240.00 for Lake View rooms.

OK we are back in. I went back to work today and talked with the guy that I usually switch with. I traded June 9th and 15th for the weekend in July of the Summer Run to do it. I also had to switch a day for a wedding in Maine in August...So no Open house this Year, but hopefully I will be going to Lake George....We booked into the Quality Inn across the street. Not as nice as the FWH but it will have to do. All that was left at the Fort were over $200.00 per night.

NO RAIN this year....alrighty!

Quick update,
Hotel is set!
Route is set!
Ford dealer is set!
We will have dinner on Friday at the hotel, box lunches for the run we also MAY have a group going to the Saratoga auto museum instead of the run for the guys that want to change it up.

I'm just waiting for conformation but it looks like the local SCCA is having a autocross on Sunday for the guys that want to stick around!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Any questions just shoot me a email. Upstatecobras@yahoo.com
