Oil temp question

My oil temp use to be in the low to mid 80s range and now all of a sudden the oil temp gauge is more sensitive and will move above 100 in traffic and then settle around the low to mid 90s while moving along in the streets. Coolant temps have not changed.

what could be causing the change in my oil temp? Or is this just the new normal?

I just changed the plugs, rotor, and cap and adjusted the timing slightly but still around 14*.

BTW, my motor is a 408 stroker and fuel injected with about 11,000 miles on the clock and no oil cooler.

I assume this in C and not F. 80 in my opinion is to low. Timing and carb adjustments can make a difference. Have the oil at 100 is good. I wouldn't get to concerned unless you saw 125-130 on oil temp.
