You didn't reply to my last snag, My Cobra is a work in progress, so there's always little things I find but it's ok if you cannot reply for what ever reason, you've been a great help to me.
Besides my release bearing always rubbing on my pressure plate eventhough I backed up the adjustment as much as I could on the slave cylinder enough to be able to engage the reverse which was a problem for me,what can i do with that ?
Also do you have a combo to slightly boost the power of my 302 roller HO holley 570 carburetor Weiand intake without costing too much, my engine is stock now, thanks a lot !

ntrudelle,
You could add a spring to keep the release bearing from touching.
Below is an example. Not my picture.

I disengaged the slave cylinder from the release bearing leaving it loose but when I backed up the fork, the bearing was still in contact with the pressure plate, somethings not right here,it shouldn't be like that, maybe I'll have to cut into ny tranny casing to give me some room, unless I got a wrong part,I don't know what's up with that, I have to investigate more. Thanks guys !

ntrudelle,
Its possible that the clutch fork pivot ball is not adjusted correctly (adjustable type) or the wrong length (too long, non adjustable type).
Or the fork is not the right one for your trans.
I never thought the fork could be wrong, but now due to the circumstances where I bought this 1990 mustang. I took the tranny from it and I noticed some work had been done before on it,like the pressure plate had been replace, the clutch and bearing but it was done by a week end mechanic for sure, he put wrong hardware on the pressure plate, I could tell by the hardware I found on this car when I took it apart so now It can be a possibility that he put the wrong fork as well, I wouldn't be surprised 'cause the tranny had the wrong oil in it too.
Crap that means that I will most likely have to pull the tranny or get another fork to compare ??
Thanks Rich, I really have to dig deeper with this problem, I thought my master cylinder was not giving me enought travel so I bought another one which is not installed yet, crap again maybe money wasted there, thanks again bud, you too Gord !

What bell housing and motorplate is that. It doesn't look familiar.
