Thumbs up Gen 3 coupe arrived

Yesterday my Gen 3 coupe arrived in Edmonton and thanks to Murray and Perry we got it uncrated and into the garage. The new frame is really heavy, 3 of us had a hard time lifting it and for you guys that know Perry he is a BIG guy. Everything looks great but a long list of back orders. The serial number is 000016 so after 3 beta cars I guess mine is #13
I know no pictures, I will try to get some up later.

I'll be following this closely, as I am planning on ordering a Type 65 complete kit soon.

Like me, you can enjoy having a $25k asset that still has no instruction manual! I have had mine since January, and I am still winging it.

I actually got 2 manuals. The main kit manual that is from the Gen 2 car but other than some aluminum looks good and a new "Chassis wiring harness" manual dated Feb 2017 that came with the wiring harness. It has pictures from the Roadster but most of it applies.

I did not receive any manual, or a wiring guide, or the Coyote guide. There was no IRS instructions. In January, I was told that the instructions would be forthcoming in about six weeks. Not yet!

The Gen3 has a very different pedal box, but I think that I figured it out. The Gen2 manual helps, but a new one is needed. Anyway, the Gen3 is great and it is worth the wait.

Can you find the relevant sections (IRS, pedal box, etc.) across the different kit instructions?

factoryfiveparts.com/instructions/]Instructions

My Gen III coupe should be here in 2 weeks and I feel ok with the Gen II manual and these supplements.

And the build blogs that we have so far.

It will have a Dart 363 and TKO 600 from Levy about 500 hp. Also 18 inch FFR wheels, IRS, Wilwood brakes, sway bars and air conditioning. Going all new on this one
I need to figure out how to post some pictures
