Painted body on chassis

Ordered March 13, 2015 (my birthday). Delivered October 2015. Started work on chassis January 2016. Off to paint December 25, 2016. Painted body returned to meet chassis March 5, 2017. Painter was on time!

Tore hamstring March 6, 2017 !! UGH, off COUPE work for a week, more UGH!

Other than the obvious the body will receive an additional buffing after all is mostly complete. Plan on being completed (is it ever complete?) for "Main Street Memories" car show in Tomahawk, Wisconsin Memorial Day weekend.

WHAT A JOURNEY!

Looks great. Man you built that fast. I think at the one year anniversary I was working on the foot box sheet metal...

CJBergquist, thanks for the kind words. It is actually 2 years from March 2015 to now March 2017. I have been very lucky with a great wife, (crew chief during our racing days), that works side-by-side with me on many of the build steps.

Thanks all for your posts.

I thought the Garage is either an extension of or the Whole MAN CAVE thing. I let my gf know that the Garage is my jurisdiction, not for storage of old furnitaure etc etc.

BTW I have black and white tiles in my Garage.
