As usual there are hundreds of people and companies that I would like to thank for all of their help but to shorten the thread a little, here are my most important thanks and gratitudes:
1. My wife Judy for continual support and the original suggestion to build a kit car.
2. My nephew Steven for teaching me how to do body work with patience.
3. The entire Forum for all of their support, help, and guidance (you guys/gals rock).
4. Trout Roberts for keeping me going and telling me I was doing OK.
3. FFR, Max Z. formerly with 5 star Ford, North-End Auto, Mass-flo, I-Squared, Breeze, Forte, etc. and etc.
The car is a non-doner build with the following major components.
* Ford racing 302 crate motor with an E cam.
* Ford T5 transmission
* 308 IRS differential
* I-Squared wiring
* Mass-Flo EFI
* 22 gallon fuel cell
* Paint is a semi-gloss blue-black
It took me 8 years to build it but I had more time than money and as friends say if I wouldn't have tried to modify every piece i picked up I would have been done years ago.
It is now licensed/insured and I have put 120 miles on it. There are still a few items to sort out for comfort and reliability but I am on my way. I actually took it to work last week as one of my test rides. The car sits so low and with everybody driving SUVs and trucks I couldn't see anyone else to see what there reaction was. That was fine because I was having a blast. It handles great and brakes great but I still need to sort out some engine issues.
Most of the pics are in my driveway without the mirrors and headlight lens covers but one of the pics is at work with everything installed except the nose grill. Still haven't put that on.
Thanks so much for all of your support and guidance,
Mike

Very nice! Something to be proud of. I like that third tail light up top. Looks like it could have been on the original. Did you use a hood scoop for that?

Very nice attention to detail and interesting paint. I couldn't tell if it was black or blue so I went back and re-read the description. Semi gloss blue-black. It can look either depending on the light?

thanks much guys.
The cross pipes seemed to quiet it down just a little and it gave me better or a more consistent temperature range at the headers.
With the help again of Chris Richards my engine seems to be running fine and i have put another 50 miles on it.

Mike
It's really looking good!
I've got to get over soon to see it in person again.
Has Judy driven it yet? Solo?
I can only imagine how great it feels to go out and drive it whenever you want.
