Fantastic Book/Resource
A couple weeks ago I bought on ebay a book/magazine called "Carroll Shelby's Racing Cobra" that was published by Petersen in 1986. I picked it up for $20 + shipping. WHAT A FIND!!! If you guys find it you should buy a copy of it. It's 218 pages, loaded with pictures from Dave Friedman (almost exclusively), and covers the development, build, and racing history of the original Coupes from page 78 to 167. Awesome book for the money! The copy I have is a little rough, has some water stains, but is perfectly readable. The copies I saw on Amazon are going for about $100 and up. Fantastic info! There appears to be 2 books with that title.
This one is soft cover, the other is hard cover, with different cover photo.

That book is great. I bought it new in 86 and still have it. that's what made want to build the kit. I just had to wait for A good kit.
