It's still a work in progress. I still need to hook up the exhaust and the pop-offs. Right now I'm trying to finish up the bodywork. Once the body is off, I'll get back to work on the engine.

Do you mind sharing the details on what your running? I've often thought about doing a twin turbo coupe but was worried about the space constraints for everything needed to do it right.

It's a kit from e-sales on e-bay. A pair of T3/T4 turbos with intercooler, oil cooler and a bunch of other goodies. It wasn't as complete of a kit as advertised, but with alot of massaging it's coming together. I switched from stock heads, to 195 alum. heads and a GT40/Lightning intake. I have no clue what it is going to produce, but I'm hoping for high 300's or low 400's. Fingers crossed.

Roger you are my hero! I was wondering if those ebay turbo headers would fit the coupe engine compartment. Did you have to get out the BFH (Big F'in Hammer) to get them to fit?
One warning on the ebay turbo headers; with the naked eye the header flanges look smooth but the surface needs to be trued with flat file, belt sander or machine shop to keep them from leaking. I've had mine on and off many times and used many gasket sets.

Roger,

That's a really cool (HOT) way to fill up the coupe engine compartment! Should be a screamer!

That looks great Roger, you have been hard at work.

Is the shroud and fan behind the x frame for the intercooler?

Body looking good, what color are you going with?

Chris

The fan will draw air from underneath the car. It sits between the cross-frame and the X-member. The shroud is homemade. I've spent countless hours on the bodywork. I lost count of how many times I've gone over each section till I felt I had it right. I've been using black primer over the areas, as it really shows off any imperfections. I'll be using light gray primer, then going with white and double blue stripes. The rear and headlight buckets will be black.

Hey- that set up looks great! Have you run them yet? Any idea on reliability/longevity for everything? I saw a similar package on eBay and am really interested for my roadster.

Wicked! Awesome work. I predict you'll be seeing a lot more HP than you're expecting.

Nice work! My stock LS1 made 350 rwhp so with the turbos.....wow!

Since the louvers are becoming a popular idea I thought I would share some wind tunnel testing I did on a friends roadster with louvers.

At highway speeds the louvers closest to the windshield will have a reverse flow.

At a standstill the hot air flows very well:
