I bought my coupe Allready built about a 7 months ago. It happens to be Gary's old Coupe #16. I'm trying to turbocharge it but i haven't found any fuel induction system that will work under the hood without having to pay less than 3000 dollars. the other thing and main problem is i do not know whatt configuration this engine has, all i know is it supously has forged piston 9.5 trickflow heads but i don't know what type of cam does it have. Is there any way of knowing this without taking the engine apart. Either way if you guys can help me that would be great because i allready but the turbos and i'm going crazy trying to find the right configuraion for this. Thanks again
Pedro

Pedro,

I think I'd check with the manufacture of the fuel injection system you'll be going with for their advice on a cam for that engine; you’ll most likely have to change it. You could also PM Gary for information on the cam; he might be able to give you an idea of what’s in it.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

If you can't get specs from Gary, you can determine lift and duration with a dial indicator and a degree wheel and you only have to remove one valve cover. Do one intake lobe and one exhaust and you can compute lobe separation. All three are important in determining cam suitability for forced induction.
