Just wondered if there is a special fitting to attach the wires to the tail lights?? A .180 dia quick disconnect fits just right, however it is too wide to work- I guess the wires are soldered on?? Anyone else do something different that worked good?? I want to have enough wire to be able to pull the housing out of the body to work on it in the future (for the NEXT OWNER!!)

By the way I am making BOTH lights on a side blink together for turn signals AND brake lights. Used a POWERED trailer 5 into 4 convertor from Hoppy- it works GREAT- splicing the wires inside the rear hatch area to keep it out of the weather (even though it is waterproof).

Ralph, Glenn soldered the bullets to the lights and then we ran wires to those water tight disconnects so I can pull the tail light fixtures.

I am using the weather-pak connectors. I think Mike Everson and Breeze sells them. They will fit through the holes.

Did the same, soldered the ends and wired into quick connects, I also welded the screws to the lamp frame so that I could use Ny-lock nuts and not worry about them spinning.
