Do you still need this with the Coupe? I'm planning on heading to the junk yard this Saturday, and I'll pick it up if i need to. I'm already planning on getting the gas tank and shield, pedal box, e-brake handle, etc.

Thanks, Scott

Scott,
Try to get the E-brake handle from a Fiero if you can. They work so much better.

Thanks for the tip Rob, I figured that I would look at different wrecks to see whats out there. But back to the original question, do I need the steering column?

Scott, I'm pretty much building a non donor coupe and that was one part I bought used. So I'd say yes

Scott, I didn't use a donor column but bought dd shafts from one of the rod parts vendor through Rods & Customs magazine. The two u joints and quick release from Mike here on the forum did the job. I should be more specfic but I would have to take a look at everthing. I have a coupe and roadster, my coupe is about 65% and my buddy Bob is close to having all the mechanicals finsished. We are not to far from Clio.

Hey Jack,

Nick Smith, Tony Albin, and myself were the three that went over to Bob's house a while ago. I also have a completed roadster...I just have the "itch" to build a coupe along with the wife's blessing. Does it get any better than that?

Thanks for the information Pat and Jack

I'm a little confused.
I have the complete kit with a simple steering column with nothing built in, turn signals, high beam or anything for that matter.
Using a donor column do you retain all these functions or the possibilities thereof?
If so you could just get a donor and use some billet bling up parts on it from the mustang aftermarket.
So a 89' (pre airbag) and earlier tilt column with all the switches would work?
