Check out the way the lower back edge of the door joins the quarter panel in front of the wheelwell......FFR change or body mans handywork?
That's a home mod. I think I've seen a couple of people that have done it so far.

I just bought FFR4851CP.
The fellow who built this really did some nice work and used top notch components.
Just a couple little things that need tweaking.
The hood doesnt stay open, one of the fog lights is in-op.
Its way too loud. JUST KIDDING !!
Its blue with white stripes. 418 cid engine dynoed at over 530 hp, 5 speed.
17 inch Halibrand wheels.
Really basic vehicle, no radio, heater or A/C.
Living in Wis., we have a very short season for these cars. I m anxious to have the snow gone and go out and terrorize the neighborhood.
I ll try to post pics.
Got the fog lights working.
I ordered new struts to support the hood. Slightly stronger ( 45 lbs), and longer by 1-1/4 inch. It should allow the hood to approach the balance point, and hold it there.
Maybe I should have waited until installation, but Im optimistic this will help.
Got a right side mirror on order too, to improve blind spot.
Now if mother nature would cooperate and melt the snow and wash the salt away I wouldnt be hanging out on sites like this so much. lol
No pics, because I don't own a Type 65. There doesn't seem to be a "spotted in XXX" thread, so I figured this might be a good place to check. I've seen a black Type 65 around Chelmsford, MA a couple of times in the last month and was wondering if the owner hangs around here at all. I only got a really quick look at the car as it drove by me, but it sounds really good!
I don't have a Type 65 Coupe, but there doesn't seem to be a "spotted a member" thread on these boards, so I figured I'd try this one. I've seen a black Type 65 Coupe several times over the summer in Chelmsford, MA, and was wondering if it belonged to anyone on here. Car looks great and sounds even better, by the way!
Here is another finished coupe. Its a non donor car, Kieth Kraft 408, Tremec TKO 600, Heat and Air, Goodyear GS-D3's, Built completely by my dad, with a little help from me, paint and body by Shourds Body shop of Reo, IN. A quick pic from a local cruise in.

Well mine isn't finished yet as I had to have it taken all the way down and rebuilt almost from scratch, but it is being done by some great guys that I know will have everything perfect. The original builder had some good ideas but poor engineering to quote the man who is doing much of the work. And it has quite a bit of custom stuff in it including a full cage roll bar and fire suppression system. My track days are over so far as racing goes because of age and health but I may still go down on open track days from time to time. And with the air conditioner I will be able to drive it in the heat that we normally have here. When I get them, I will post some pictures.
That Coupe in the post above is just beautiful. You did a fantastic job. I wish my health was where I could do more work on mine. I also like your paint scheme as it is different and I like to see different things on the cars.
