Let me help you get these sold by showing the end result Kyle.

I'm usually not usually big on bling but REALLY like these after putting a set in one that I built and painted a couple of years ago

Thanks guys. I really like hood louvers and had planned to until I was told it would be another $1500 to install them. That was a bit steep for me and based on the price I was paying for bodywork, paint and underneath hood work, I chose not to.

Holy crap! $1,500 is another way of saying "I don't want to". I charged exactly $0.00 to do 'em!

Okay Jeff, now I really regret not shipping the body to you. You could have painted Viking Blue which you haven't done and I could have had louvers. Love the paint color I have and the car looks great but there are a few things I did not see when I picked her up and now have to take her back to address these items.

Just to add to this thread, I did the same idea, but different execution with mesh and aluminum.

Doing this modification pulls so much heat out from the engine compartment! And should add some high speed stability by reducing under-hood/car high pressure.

And it looks so cool!!!

Put them in!!!

FFR5148K MkII Roadster, MCRP 331 CI 415 HP w/ carb, 3-link, disc brakes, SN95 Front brakes, FR500 Wheels. Still mostly Gel-Coat Grey! Now with roll cage and more track stuff, wrecked, beaten, blown-up, man-handled, cut up, butchered, Freaky body mods, sat on by HOOTERS girls, still barely street legal.

Winter 2016 Updates: Electric steering IN!!!! Thinking about EFI

John, they are 14.75" long, by 5.75" at the top to 8.25" at the bottom. Note to take about .5" off each side for inner dimensions.
