Free Spare Parts

I have a bunch of free spare parts that I am happy to give away, but I really don't have the time to go to the post office every day to pack up and send each part. Here is the list. If you want something, I'll give it to you for free, but you have to send me a proper sized box with a return mailing slip inside the box so I can just pack up the part you want and then call Fedex, or UPS to come pick up the box and get it back to you. I think that is a fair trade off. Some of these items are probably not worth the shipping, its just easier to pick one up at a local store, but since I have them I just wanted to list them and see if somone could use them. Ive included pictures. I can't promise I still have every nut/bolt that came with these parts, so I make no waranty, but the price is right...its free. Just PM me if you want something and I'll hold it for you until you get me a box. I'll get you my address via PM if you want something.

Spindle adapter bracket

FFR Oil filter relocation kit

FFR complete kit gas pedal
Wilwood brake fluid reservoir x 2

FFR ground straps

Cone air cleaner

Passenger side roll bar attachment with hardware

Passenger side three – link shock absorber attachment bracket

FFR E–brake handle assembly complete, with instructions

Banana Bracket

Energy engine mounts

J – pipes with cats. only used for about 30 minutes of driving but Possibly damaged from overly rich environment so someone who knows how to inspect and/or fix these should be the person who takes them

Thanks,

Steve

Too bad you are not farther north in Jersey, I work near Mawah. I could've picked them all up and brought them up to Rochester on my next trip up there. Saving everyone the shipping hassle.

Yeah, Thanks Scarlet! Didn't leave much for the rest of us.

If the Energy Mounts aren't spoken for, I'm interested. Thanks Mirose.

Mirose...Now that I'm finished laughing...

I don't need anything but would suggest that you consider offering one item per person. In a community known for sharing and helpng each other I'm sure no one could have imagined what just took place. Now we know first hand how so many good, well intended charities go horribly wrong.

If continued trips to the post office to drop off boxes appears to be an issue I'd suggest giving everyone a week to get their boxes to you, pack them up one time, and make (hopefully) one trip to the post office. The stuff is free afterall and I'm sure no one would complain about a slight wait for a free part.

I'd also suggest that each person gets the first item they mentioned in their post.

Yeah, I think I am going to do this.

Sorry, Steve, I am going to give away some of the parts to the other's that chimed in....You were an early responder, so I'll give you the cats as your primary part...after one week I'll be sure to give you that plus whatever has not been asked for for at that point. The good news: The cats are probably the most valuable part of the lot. I'll send you a PM

MPTech, send me a PM for the mounts

Mike in Victoria...Send me PM for the Gas Pedal

Aeterna, I think you already sent me a rollbar PM...I'll get back to you

Crashburndie..Send me PM for the Ebrake...

You guys work it out who gets the reservoirs. Also, check the model number. Make sure its what you want. I think these mount on top of the MC's directly if I remember right.

Neither of you has sent me a PM yet from what I can see.

Mike, if your looking for a "Good" go pedal, get a Russ Thompson one. Not free, but is still much better.

In all fairness, Scarlett (Steve), did respond first, and it's always been first come, first served here..
I don't see why he should be penalized, just because others were slow to respond? Now if he didn't follow through with mirose's shipping request, that's another story, but I think he should get all that he asked for initially.

Bill, thanks for your concern. Steve has been very understanding of the situation and while he isn't going to get everything initially on the list, there is still a lot for him and in fact there were another 5 or ten things I hadn't gotten around to listing yet that I am going to add to his box since he was a good sport about it all. In fact, people weren't slow to respond, the responses came in fast and furious. But the post has been up long enough that I'm done. The people who have PM'd me will get their parts, and Steve gets the rest. This includes Mike in Victoria who will be getting the Pedal.

This post goes under the heading of "no good deed goes unpunished" It certainly generated a tidy bit of backlash all around. Oh well.

Yep. and I'm pretty much done here. I've spent too much time dealing with this already. Whatever isn't spoken for is going into a box and going to Steve.

Sorry to say that I know all too well about this. Glad to see that you requested postage paid boxes. GREAT IDEA! The last time I tried to give stuff away for shipping costs only, I went in the attic and found a box, packed up the box, weighed it, figured out shipping costs and then the recipient decided he didn't want to pay shipping.. GRRRRRRRRRR.... It went in the trash...

Glad you gave away your stuff the way that you wanted to give away your stuff. No entitlements!
