I know what I was told by the seller - and I do believe the seller because he genuinely seemed like a good guy and honest guy. So I have no reason to doubt what he told me.
Since this thread has alot of people commenting, some asked me to put up pics and specs on the car. I said I believe the car is a ccx and people here said that they would be able to tell from the pics.
Personally, I trust the seller and like I said before- it makes no difference to me what kind it is. it has everything on my checklist
If you are able to tell from the pics, great. If not, no worries. Im happy with the car. and maybe we can close this thread......finally....

Ace, I disagree, I think this thread has been totally entertaining and I'm actually pretty stoked to see that you bought a Cobra on what kind of seemed like a whim. Now, just keep the rubber side down, as those threads are a little less entertaining. Did we figure out what engine you have yet?

Haha thanks terrorist hunter. Great handle by the way ! Yes, it's a Chevy 454- I looked up the numbers and it appears to be a 454 from the 91-95 generation.
