Mk 3.1 Complete kit 521ci Big Block

I'd like to sell my Roadster. The car is tagged and titled in North Carolina. I've barely started the body work. I've scratched down the gel coat and removed the seams. It does not have many miles on it yet.

The engine is huge, which means it's quite loud and is not great on gas. There is no power steering, but it's not really needed.

If you are a private person and don't like talking to people, do not inquire. Everywhere I go people always want to ask me questions about it and are taking pictures of it, even though it's still in Gel coat. I don't know how many times I've had to tell guys "No, it's not a real Cobra."

Basic details are...
*Used 460 block from 1972 stroked to 521ci with Mahle pistons & Eagle crankshaft.

*Jon Kaase P-51 Heads

*Compression is between 9 to 9.5:1 Runs on pump gas.

*Comp Cams cam Xtreme Energy 284H (follow the link for more info http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=995&sb=2 )

*Comp Cams roller pushrods and rockers (listed on cam specs sheet)

*Holley 4150 Double Pumper carborator

*Carter electric Fuel Pump

*Gearing is standard from the kit...I believe it is 3.55:1

*Tranny is TKO 600

*Quicktime Bellhousing

*Ram Clutch (manual) Forte Extender added to clutch fork.

I can give you more details/pics later if interested. This car is a go-cart on steroids. Yes it's fun, but it is dangerous. I haven't had it dynoed yet, but I expect the horsepower & torque lie between 550 - 650 at about 4,000 rpm.

If interested send me a PM

Asking $25,000. I have well over that into it already.

Thanks,

Joe

Here's a new video...

Sorry for your loss.
You might want to post some pictures of the car and engine to help entice folks. Best wishes on your sale.

I am pleased to announce the car has been sold, and is safe in my garage. Let the games begin!!

Thanks to Joe, you couldn't ask to meet a nicer guy.

Don't worry Joe, this won't be your last one, I'm sure. You have the hunger in your eyes!
