FFR MkIII Beautiful Non-donor in GA $34K (SOLD)

Major life changes force me to sell my beloved Factory Five Racing AC Cobra replica. I am a registered professional engineer and this is the second FFR Cobra I have built. I spared no expense and cut no corners on this car and my attention to detail is evident in the way the car looks and drives. This is a non-donor build using almost all new parts. I built it in 2007 and it currently has less than 3000 miles so it is practically new but well sorted out. It runs and drives perfectly, looks amazing and the sound will bring tears to your eyes. You won’t believe the attention this car attracts! It is registered as a 1965 FFR Roadster. Here are the details:
Factory Five Racing MKIII Roadster
3-link rear suspension with Koni coilovers & Ford 8.8 w/3.73 gear
347 stroker engine built by T&L Engine Development in Charlotte, NC
443 HP @ 6100 RPM, 433 lb-ft Torque @ 3300 RPM at the crank
Holley 4150/650 CFM four barrel built and flow balanced by Advanced Engine Design, Inc.
Super Duty T5 transmission built by Levy Racing with hardened gears and .80 final drive ratio to put RPMs in sweet spot when cruising. (Stock Ford gearing is way too tall for these cars.)
Flaming River manual steering rack with 18:1 ratio to match the weight of the car.
All new brake system with 11” rear and 13” front Ford Cobra disks and calipers with adjustable front/rear proportioning valve
Autometer Gauges
Highest quality DuPont Chroma base coat/clear coat paint
I love to talk about and show off this car but because of time constraints, please only contact me if you are seriously in the market for a Cobra replica. Thanks! Frank – 706-286-4854.

Seriously Interested

Frank,

I am seriously interested in your car. I live in Maine and would like to tour around New England and perhaps a bit further. So, I'm thinking in case of rain, is there a top?

Buyer will not be disappointed.

I live in Athens and have seen (and heard) this car numerous times and it is indeed one of the best examples on the road.

Frank, I often meet you in the road (Barnett Shoals) and have always wanted to turn around and chase you down for a closer inspection but never have. Unfortunately my own life changes have forced the sale of my NSX and Blue/White Stripe Roush Mustang but I would buy your Cobra in a heartbeat if I had the funds.

Truly, the exhaust note alone is worth the price of admission. When I see you coming I roll down my windows. Good luck selling it and whoever buys it will be getting a fantastic car.

your other cobra

Hi Frank,

If your current car for sale is anything like your first build, someone is getting a fine car. I have had your first build for over 3 years now and love it. I can not tell you how many folks have complimented my car. Sorry to hear you are selling your second build, hope it goes well for you.

Sold

Sold to a great guy from NC.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I didn't see them until now. I don't check the forum anymore. Glen - glad to hear that you are still enjoying the car! It was tough seeing the latest one loaded up and leaving on the trailer.
