Looks like the drill jig for doing the wheel boxes for a wiper kit

Hah too funny. I was going to comment on the beauty of basically a one time use tool and then it's junk. Chose not to as I assumed perhaps in the latest builds they were being painted for some reason. I say this one needs a special place on that shelf in the garage.

I've got a few of 'em hanging around too but I always have to go digging through the various "hell boxes" to find the darn things since the natural/rusty finish camouflages them so well. A bright red one would sure be easier to spot!

Never seen one, do they come with the wiper kits or something?

I'd have finished a long time ago if I knew they were this fun!

They come in the optional wiper kit, as mentioned. The drill jig is in the box with the wiper motor, wiper parts, etc.

Based on the chassis number in your sig line, doesn't look like yours is a recent delivery from FF. So guessing it's a little late to notify FF of a missing part. There are a ton of them around. Probably someone would send you one with a 'wanted' listing in the classifieds. The required hole is actually really easy to put in the body without the drill jig using the bezel gasket as a pattern. That's what I do. But many prefer to use the jig.

Thanks for the info. I'll give a shout in the wanted section. I figured there's always a way. Nothing's impossible. :-)

Heck, I thought it was a fancy pencil holder; bright red makes it easy to find, and much better than a pencil behind your ear... What the heck do I know? HA

You can have mine if you want it. Just let me know address and I'll see what shipping is.

Thanks for the offer KDubU but I just found it. Checked my parts list and I had it checked off in box 14. Went to box 14 and there it was. 😊
