Lots of options out there

I have not done this but the concept is pretty simple and the kits are available.

Hooked these up a year ago as (indirect lighting) in the Cobra's foot wells,in the Eng. compartment, and in the trunk. In areas that the strips are hidden from sight.

When I approach my car with the key fob, interior footwell lights go on; part of my keyless, push button ignition. Lots of goodies included:

Why not just connect interior light to a door switch? Wire door switch (provides ground) to the interior lights.

I used the headlight switch. Turn the knob to illuminate the LEDs. They have wireless remotes at the LED store already linked in the thread.

My experience was positive, though I did not run into any defective issues. I had some installation questions and they took a lot of time running me through the steps and selecting operational options. Food for thought, though; will ask about warantees, if there is a next time.

I have LED strips under the dash to illuminate the footwells and seats for easier belting in of passengers and those not familiar with camlocks. Like Steve above I just have it on the headlight switch rheostat. Turn it all the way until it "clicks" and the interior lights come on. Simple wiring and it is already there in the FFR harness.

Like Dale I've had a good experience. They patiently talked me through the wiring a year after I purchased the system.
