I'm not sure about how Jeff got the nickname and all, but you guys will probably all find this interesting. A coworker of mine was always fascinated with batman, and had a batmobile built for him. The whole story behind the car is in the enclosed article. Maybe the ultimate "barn" find.

Paint? Hah!!!!

FFR5148K MkII Roadster, MCRP 331 CI 415 HP w/ carb, 3-link, disc brakes, SN95 Front brakes, FR500 Wheels. Still mostly Gel-Coat Grey! Now with roll cage and more track stuff, wrecked, beaten, blown-up, man-handled, cut up, butchered, Freaky body mods, sat on by HOOTERS girls, still barely street legal.

You posted at 2 something AM...proving that bats are truly nocturnal. As for the Javelin...like the song says, "too much time on my hands."

Hey Miller!,
Did I hear paint job?
After 12+ years on the road, the paint is starting to see its age.
Snow banking doesn't help either😮.

It looks like he just got tired of waiting on that flying car that we were told would be around by now. Those fins and a cape.... What could possibly go wrong?

Dear "Mr. Batman" Jeff Miller. You have always been my most favorite rodent, I mean, man person, who has always posted words of wisdom on this forum to live by. It would truly be a honor to have someone of your prestigue to even consider painting (for free) "Ol #1437. If chosen, I could have 'Ol #1437 delivered by a very pretty lady and even, perhaps, a case of very cheap wine in the trunk. Please note my dear friend, that I'm NOT trying to sway your vote in any way or form.
Your Bastage friend,
Butch

PS
How is that for "Kissing Up"?

This ain't no circus--and I don't need any clowns!

MKI #1437, EFI 347, Astro T-5, 3:55 8.8rr, and other upgrades--

To be honest, I always look to see what the Bat has to say. Free paint job, not likely for me. If you gave away 400, I would be 401 in line.

and have a blast doing it.

How about that warbird paint Job I love that one. I think its time for DA BAT to do that one again.

I would love that one on my car.

Free Paint Job?

I am still in gel coat and would love to upgrade to nice new colorful finish on my car.

Aside from that when you have the first posters be JKleiner, Gordon Levy, M DOUGHERTY coupled with a j. miller mention, it is bound to be good. So far the thread has not been a disappointment.
