I am so close to driving this thing out of the garage this weekend that I couldn't wait to share some pics. It's been almost 3 years since I started with a complete kit from Factory 5. For the most part it has been a very enjoyable experience except for the body work and paint which I did my self in the garage you see in the pics. I built a paint booth in there and I think the paint job turned out pretty good. (Not my first experience at painting) It is not professional by any measure but I'm happy with the results. I welcome any comments, positive or negative and will try to answer any questions anyone has.
Thanks to all members on here who unknowingly helped me do this and to all the vendors on here who now have all my extra mad money I used to keep in the back of my wallet.
Nice color combo, the silver looks good against that color red.
It really does look like you supported the vendors from what I can see..lol..you don't have to spend all your mad money you know..might need some for gas..
Thanks for all the kind comments from everyone. It really makes me feel good about what I have accomplished although my car is not even close to the quality of some of the builds I see on here.

Nice build Jim. I envy your ability to do the body and paint. Great color combo. I bet you have to pinch yourself everyone once in a while when you look at it!
I'm about the same stage as you. Trying to get some final things done so I can get it inspected. Exciting times for sure. Keep us posted!

Once done, you'll have room in the garage for lawn chairs and a mini fridge.
Congrats!
I've had the mini fridge in the garage since I started this project. During the body work and paint the fridge saw a LOT of use! The chair of choice when get the garage cleaned again will be a nice soft lounge chair close to the fridge!
