Alain, I think your car (a MkII or III?) has 250 rear springs. that is what was on my MkII w/ ProShocks and was pretty common on all FFRs until the MkIVs. The MkIVs came w/ 350s but that is w/ the FFR Konis so i don't think you want to go w/ that on your car. I suspect that 300s would help you out.

I have 250 springs on the rear of my MK1, and I also have a 8.8 rear (4-link) with 3.55 gears, I have a little over 500 hp. I am thinking of jumping up to 350 or 400 springs.

Is your car mainly a drag racing car? How many miles are on your Pro-shocks?

Some springs have a small metal tag around one of the coils w/ a number on it. Others have a number engraved on the flat part of the spring at one end or the other.

I have a MKII with 3-Link.

Went from 450F and 250R to 650F and 450R

Difference was staggering. Comfortable ride to firm. Car hooks and handles. May be a little to harsh for most street only cars.

x2 went with 600F and 450R handles WAY better...the ride...well..with the bilstiens...not too bad, but not great. That with the Kirkey seat (little cushioning)...I will be changing to some QA1's from Breeze VERY soon.

For drag racing however...why would want to go stiffer in the back??? I lost .2-.3 off my 60' foot going from 250's to 450's
