Roadster on Diners, Drivein's, and Dives

I was flipping through the tv channels and stopped on the food channel, on Diners, Drivein's, and Dives. The host (Guy Fietti) usually drives a 67 Camaro, but on the segment I saw he was driving a black Cobra roadster. I had to stop and watch but only saw it for a few seconds and it wasn't shown again. He was in San Francisco at a place called Rocco's. Has anyone seen this show segment? It really looked like a nice roadster, much nicer than the Camaro. He should switch to the roadster on all the shows.

I remember one of the magazines I get did a story on that. Nice car, bu nothing spectacular. He is kind of a car guy, more like a car guy wanna be. He has money, so he bought a cobra.

I liked this quote "This particular Cobra is the genuine article with an authentic Shelby American CSX chassis number, rather than some over-processed imitation."

Also "a fully independent, high-performance suspension—no live-axle rearend or Mustang II parts in this bona fide big-block muscle car."

Later in the article it talks about having a fiberglass body. "So today, even though a much better and more precise aluminum body is available as an option, Shelby American offers a fiberglass variant, which is what Guy Fieri’s Cobra has. One advantage of the fiberglass body is the use of a structurally rigid tub in the cockpit instead of a small-diameter tubular subframe to support the aluminum skin."

Just another swipe at all the other replica makers!
