Any opinions on the the modified F-Panels from FFMetal? I have no doubt these panels are the same fine quality as their other products, but I was wondering how big a front tire would make it necessary. Any pictures of them installed?
I found that my 275's rubbed the F-panels just a bit at full lock. A lot of people deal with this by putting stops in the steering rack, but I wanted to keep the turning radius. The FFmetal panels are very nice and fit perfectly:

Hey,
sorry this is unrelated to your original post but what seats are in your car. I'm throwing the old buckets out and throwing in racing seats!!
btw I just installed the Fat Front tire F pieces as well!!! the work great
I have 275s up front and just deal with the rubbing. #1, I don't even notice when it happens, #2 How often are you going to be at full lock? #3 Who paints or powder coats their F pan....uh

These fat tire F panels do move your splash guards toward the rear of the car which can create some interference with your master cylinder and cats (if you run them) depending on your set up.
I’m running the hydroboost PS/PB system which is particularly long and it required cutting a, larger than normal, clearance hole for the MC in the elephant ear. I you look closely you can see the issue in the photo. I’ll need to bend up and install a cover after everything is fit in place. Since I’m also running cats I trimmed the leading edge of the fat tire panel and mounted it a bit further forward that originally intended. Mine also took a bit a massaging around the LCA brackets.
None of this is a big deal really but a bit more work.

BTW, was joking reference your F panels, being visible with your tilt front.
Hey Tim, as long as we're hijacking, how do your new pipes sound?
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to run it with the new pipes yet. The body needs to come back off first. I can't wait to hear them, though.
I did pick up a used set of stock pipes that I will pepper with O2 sensor bungs for tuning the Webers. They will also give me a chance to do some fairly accurate "before and after sound" recordings.

I don't worry about the 275s hitting the F panels. It's a smooth surface and I am going maybe 5 mph so there is no damage.
