Where is our 2010 "LuckyWinner" SGT David Plattenberger?

(above from Mugshots 2010)

Many of you were aware of our 'LuckyWinner' SGT David Plattenberger, winner of the 2010 Factory Five giveaway.

We were very excited that the free kit went to someone serving in the military, and he was equally excited at the prospects of having his car. His questions and comments came from all over the place, and he was posting from Afghanistan, I presume.

If I remember correctly, the family paid a small fee and upgraded the kit to the 15th Anniversary Kit, and was being held at the Factory Five facility for free.

I was personally excited because (at the time) his "hometown" was Huntington Beach California.

His last post was August 2011, over a year ago.

If anything was posted on the Factory Five forum, I must have missed it.

I hope everything is okay? Any news?

'Private' NiceGuyEddie

Eddie!!!!!!

Im sorry, it takes along time for this forum to load on my computer. Im out in the sticks and just have a usb internet connection. Im still in Louisiana, staying here till about June. Wife found a house off post so was able to get the car delievered. Have my moser 3 link on...front end on...alum in cockpit...Just ordered some 17" Shelby Bullit wheels and Nitto 05s. They should be here in about 2 weeks. Was having some money issues with trying to keep my grandson with me (dam lawyers) but found a 1SG here that had a 393 with only 200 miles on it and gave it to me for a great price. Have my TKO600. Next month will have my Quicktime bellhousing so I can put it all together so should have it all in the car by the end of January. Need to just get different oil pan and need a carb. Looking to first start in late February. Looking at going to power steering cuz I want to get it on the track. All is good with me and the family. Thanks for thinking about me. If anyone here wants to see pics and updates, look for me on facebook and I will add you. Love talking to other FF5 guys, so feel free to add me. Plattenberger, david. I think im the only one out there!!! Eddie...you better add me!!!!!
