steering rack leaks

I have a power steering rack, that I bought from local auto store. The fittings wasn't tight so it was leaking from couple of them. After I tight it up one of them stopped leaking, but the second still does. My questions is, can I get new tube with fitting from somewhere to replace it? Or I need to use some special teflon tape? I used regular teflon tape and it's still leaks.

If I remember right I think I had to use rubber ring gaskets, did you use any?

There are o-rings for each connection into the steering rack.

Stop by an auto parts store to get a replacement set.
The ones that came with my new rack had some sort of break in process.

I can check tonight.

I think I remember some o-rings that came with the steering rack. I will have to look for it tonight. I just assumed that it was for supply from pump and return to the pump o-rings ups.... Thank you guys, hopefully it didn't make the my garage garbage bin

Mine were a hard plastic material sourced from NAPA, I soaked them in some hot water and screw them on gently and let them cool down before tightening up fitting, they will deform easily.

Found them :)

I found a little bag with 4 o-rings. Two white plastic white and two smaller, black rubber. Should I use only two of them, whatever size I need, correct? Or I need to use two of them on each fitting?
