Electrical Issue

Hello All,
I am taking a shot in the dark here, but I am having some issues to say the very least! I bought my FFR MK 1 second hand and its been a blast. I have a 93 Cobra 5L and the wiring harness from said vehicle. The guy who wired it was not one for tagging or running wire with any care for neatness. This past weeked, I installed a new dashboard with new gauges. When I went to turn the engine over, the starter tried to turn it over, but no luck. I removed the lead on the distributor from the coil to see if I was getting a spark, but I wasn't. So I replaced the coil. After doing so, I went to turn the engine over and not only did I have the same problem, but when I pulled the key from the ignition, it was still trying to turn over. Needless to say, I disconnected the negative terminal from battery and am trying to get this all sorted out. Has anyone seen anything like this? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 93 cobra harness?

The other day my starter turned on while driving down the road after hitting a small bump. Stopped and turned the key off and the starter kept on running, so I finally pulled the negative battery cable, luckily it was a little loose. Turns out when I hit the bump the positive cable on my high torque mini starter rotated enough to touch the trigger wire, therefore cranking constantly. Also if positive power goes only to the trigger wire, and not to the positive, my starter will try and turn over very slow.

I found the problem. I had two actually. The starter solenoid crapped out on me in the open position and I had a floating ground in my tachometer. It took a lot of troubleshooting, but the wiring diagrams and advice was a big help. Thanks guys.
