Tank for washer fluid?

Hi guys

When you have vipers and a washer jet, what type of resevoir do you have?

I dont like puting a plastic reservoir in to the engine bay but it seems difficult to find alternatives.

Any ideas?

Some of the original cars had a Trico glass bottle - they came in various shapes, including a triangle cross-section. Reproductions of those are available, but can be expensive. I just used a plastic bottle from Moss Motors, a British car parts supply place here in the US - it was an Austin-Healey part number, if I remember correctly.

Have you driven your car yet? Using washer jets is going to get you wet!

:-) Not a good idea to use it... but when I have windshield the rules require that I have both vipers and washer so...

The idea is to find something in metal to match the ffr overflow tank for the cooling system but maybe I need to be open for other alternatives. I just dont want a modern plastic jar under the hood.

The 427 street cars actually used a Trico square plastic reservoir mounted on the firewall on the Pass side. Nearly impossible to find an original one.
