Roll bar x-member for shoulder belts

Ah, the best laid plans of mice and men...

Since I am using the Corbeau seats, the normal sholder belt arrangement is less than optimal. So, my plan was to attach the shoulder belts to a roll bar crossmember. I ordered the new angled roll bars from Breeze, and I was just browsing the Finishline site to order the crossmembers. Well, the Breeze roll bars are 1-3/4" OD, and the Finishline crossmembers are for either 1-1/2" or 2" OD tubing.

Anyone know of any other crossmember options?

Thanks.

Tim

Yep... A trick Carl on the forum taught me. Purchase the 2" finishline ones then replace the inner rubber lining with 1/8" rubber from McMastercar. It works perfect! You would think its built for the 1 3/4" bar by looking at it once complete.

part number 8609K2 is what I purchased.

Or you could buy the cross bar from Breeze and have it welded in. That's my plan.

Oh man... You get into a bad accident where those eyebolts punch a hole through the back of your head the emergency workers are going to scoop up your brains and pour them back into the hole and whisk you off to the morgue. That is so dangerous looking.

I'd be concerned about those eyebolts knocking me in the back of the head. Use with helmet only?

It doesn't worry me. I'm using Corbeau A4 high-back seats:

I agree that with the roadster seats, the eye bolts look pretty menacing...
