Has anyone supercharged a carburated 306 crate motor. Do you need to change carbs or rejet .? Would the timing stay the same ? Will the motor hold up with about 6psi ?
They are some supercharger specific carbs out there. It would be in your best interest to change the carb.

with a max boost of 5-6 psi even factory 302's don't come apart. your 2 week points are the head gaskets and the block . I would be very surprised if you had any issues with either at a low boost level as long as the fuel and timing are right . Be sure it has at a minimum forged pistons and good rod/head bolts. You didn't mention who's crate motor Bob

I have run stock block 5.0 up to 13 PSI no prob with proper tuning and fuel. The boost is not the issue it's the max power that kills the blocks. They tend to split down the lifter valley (ask me how i know ) and the block is definitely the weak point. You should be able to make under 500 RWHP without an issue. As far as the carb, you will need a blow thru carb. If you already have a manual secondary carb, you can send it to be modified to CSU carbs in California (ask for kevin) If not then you need to sell the carb and buy one from him. You could also just buy a carb that is setup for blow thru like from Demon Carbs but the service you will get from CSU is worth the extra $$$ in my humble opinion. Expect to pay about $ 850.00 for a blow thru carb from CSU or $ 450.00 to have yours modded, last i checked.
Good Luck and Cheers

Seems like it would be a nice motor for a blower. 9:1 compression (not too high) and aluminum heads. With only 6psi and proper tuning, you'd have a fun reliable motor.
I had an EFI 306 similar to what you have there and twin turbos at 8 psi. Made 420 RWHP and 440 RWTQ without problems.
Cheers

Can I use my stock injectors/maf/computer with this engine?
Would I have to change out somethings to get a reasonably powered daily driver?(I too was thinking of a low-boost s/charger)
MAF and computer yes (depending on which one, an A9L yes) injectors no. You need to run 42 # injectors.
