Anyone ever do this?

Just received my set of rear lower control arms from Gordon. They look almost to nice to use. Almost belong on the mantel. I was thinking about polishing before install. Am I the only one or has someone else thought of and done it. I realize the only person to see it will be me when on the lift but.......

There are some that have polished them and they look great. Keeping them clean is always fun.

Bling is OK.

I agree... Gordon has some nice pieces. I couldn't resist and polished the LCAs and all of the 5-Links I did apply a spray can of clear coat afterwards but it didn't hold up very well. I ended up stripping the clear coat off the Watts links but managed to keep it on the LCAs. In hind sight I would powder coat them clear if I did them again. But they do look good!

Hey Tom, that errr, looks just like my rear end. I too polished my 5-link and the front lower control arms. Looks great but somewhat more work once you get the car on the road. The rear is easier to get at to re-polish than the front ones, they're a pain.
