hey guys how hard do you think it is to add a wiper system to a already completed car? i found a freshly completed car but it doesnt have the wiper system. i need it inorder to pass the safety in our province.
Not hard. The only part that will make you pucker it drilling through the body for the actuators.

Yes it's safe if you take it in steps and protect the body with tape. You could also drill small holes in a circle and use a rat-tail file to finish the job. Very little chance of a mishap with that method.

If they will accept it, use a hand operated wiper to pass inspection. Then put it in the trunk. RainEx works better than the wipers anyway.

I did mine during my build and a friend asked me to do his AFTER his build. You can do it.
Perhaps you can mock up a firewall on a piece of plywood as a confidence builder?
You will be fine.
As an aside.......I found Rain-x to be very effective by itself. In heavy heavy rain the wipers will only go so fast leaving poor visibility so stopping is a safe alternative for a lot of reasons.

Also I have challenges with water rolling around to the inside of windshield so I carry one of these with me also: Home works great for inside w/s and to wipe off rain on the body.

I didn't have time to get my wipers installed before paint. I asked the painter to drill the holes in the body (he did it after paint... somehow it didn't make it on to the before paint list ) and it worked out fine.
I did the rest of the install myself in a finished car. Not difficult, just a little less room to work compared to say, before engine install and somewhat more stressful than working around a rough, gel-coat body.

I ordered the FFR wiper kit when I originally ordered the kit, and they work well.
It came with dimensions and a drill guide (jig) to get somewhat the correct angle.
Placement and anchoring down of the drive motor is important, as well as correct length of the tubing between the drive and the wiper boxes (Cut long, and adjust until just right)
I can send the instructions and the jig if you like.
