Spindles for PIN Drive Conversion

I’ve changed my mind again! I’m going to switch from standard to pin drive width setup. The new front wheels will be 7.5"x15" Trigos with 3.625" backspacing. The spindles that I currently have installed are SN95s (’94-’95) with SAI mod and FFR bump steer kit. Since I’m making the switch I don’t want to use the bump steer kit, therefore I have to get new spindles. I searched but I only found differing opinions on which spindles, FFR, SN95 94/95 or 96-04 provide the best setup. I would assume the FFR spindles are the best but they are so damn expensive. Can the SAI mod be used with either of the SN95 setups? I’ll be posting my wheels/tires and all of my old suspension parts from front and rear in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

I don't understand by you would need new spindles? Because they are drilled for bump steer?
If so maybe someone would swap with you.
The 94-95 tend to be best because the are the narrowest width.

Sorry Mike, you're right, my spindles have been drilled for the bump steer kit. I would perfer a 94/95 set but I have a second set from a '97 and because they are wider, I didn't know how that would effect everything in a PIN drive setup.

The 96 and on SN95 spindles are 3/4" wider. Using pin drive is going to make them stick out too far. See if you can get another set of 94/95

I bet a machine shop could make you an adapter to press into the spindle to restore the taper.
