I was ready for paint and had it narrowed down to black, silver blue or red.
Hope you have an easier time picking colors than I did.

I really struggled with the color choice.Almost went with a dark red with silver stripes, but then I saw a red one in town and I wanted to be different so I decided gray with silver stripes.

another problem im having is do i do black powder coating on pipes n roll bar or go all chrome or do i do a mix of both. why is life so unfair
I wasn't really thinking when I had my pipes coated that my roll bars were black, So now I have a chrome drivers side bar coming and will be on the look out for the passenger side. If I don't find one before this winter I will have mine sandblasted and chromed. It would have been a lot cheaper to re-coat the pipes black, but the wife said she liked them the way they are. so here I go, spending more money.

Here's mine in Indigo Blue with Viper Silver. I saw a black one the other day with silver stripes and a red stripe on both sides of the silver stripes. That was beautiful.
Color choice was the hardest decision to make for me. I ended up going with Silver/Platinum w/ no stripes. I like the simply clean look ... but obviously, every person has their own unique likes/dislikes. It is yours! ... make it what you want ... that is what is cool about these cars.

This was the hardest thing to come to a final decision on! (Heard that before?)
The only thing I might add is that certain colors sort of "fit" into certain eras, IMHO. For instance, if you want a car that looks like it's come through a time machine from, oh, 1965, bright orange or pop (Kawasaki) green don't fit-- those are early '70s colors. There just about weren't any metallic colors before the '60s, a lot of '50s cars had two-tone pastel schemes and silver (especially darker silvers) and black look more like the last two decades.
And nothing looks bad in British Racing Green, even a Pontiac Aztec would look decent in BRG.
