Just as a option, you could weld the front stubs to the chassis. Less holes to drill.
And another, drill and tap. You could just use a 1/2" or 3/4" long 5/16-18 or 3/8-16 bolt.

I thought I'd let you know that I got my bars today, and they came with a tip sheet. I guess Mark likes me better...
Seriously, the tip sheet contains convincor's tips posted earlier. I definitely like them better than the kit bars. Nice work Mark and whoever else was involved. And thanks for your review, Mike. That's what made me decide to buy them.

well thats great news. The kit is very good and that will top it off. Also, when you mock them up, make sure you level them. If your doing dual bars, you can put a straight edge across the two and put a level there so you can double check they are both the same hight. Also make sure the sides of the bars are level too so you dont make a crooked one.
good luck!

convincor, now that i have the body on, the bolt holes for the rear leg are right at the body line. Not really above or below the body. My thought is that i can just bolt on the bottom leg to the frame and leave the bolt out of the upper portion by the body? Or is there something else that you recomend? Drilling lower is not an option as I am at the end of the tube. Thanks!

Drill and tap the bottom side going strait up and bolt the one side.
