I was going through the Canada/US border in Blaine, WA and the border guard is asking a lot of questions about the car: you build it, what engine, you know the questions - then he says "okay, you're good to go, but, you have to do a burnout. Really? Yea." .... tweaked the throttle and rolled outa there. Those guys carry guns! :-)
June 07 Build School; FFR #5765 delivered Aug 27/07; Complete May 2009; 347 Levy all forged rotating assembly, Edelbrock E-Street heads, Explorer intake, 70mm TB, BBK 76mm Mass air, 30lb injectors, 255 fuel pump, Gas-N sidepipes, PS with Heidts valve, PB, FF5 heater, Team III wheels & BFG tires ....
Hmmm I don't seem to get to many of those, but then maybe I just can't hear them over the engine :-)
As Ray said though, the biggest dogs don't have to bark. I always thought there was nothing cooler then seeing someone in a bad ass car just cruising down the road with a grin on his face.

Well, I don’t get that with the FFR yet, not done. But I get it all the time with the wife’s Mach 1. I had forgotten all about the Gold Fish thing (my dad worked for American Motors back then) that will have to be my new thing to say. I normally just tell them it will cost them $100.00 to see it, that way I can afford to replace the tires, and any parts I break. No, my wife won’t drive it with the TRACLOCK off, so I know she isn’t doing that.
Here's a burnout gone horribly wrong AT THE DRAG STRIP just last month - June 2012!!!! And that's supposed to be a controlled environment!!! Needless to say , it was posted on the Interwebs for the whole world to see...and shake their heads!!!Really not worth it!!!
