i dont have my hood here. would this work on a mk4 hood with the cutout in the same place? I will have the scoop on mine, but it will be bolted on. I want to order one of these.

Its made from the same material that is used on Airplane firewalls.
Light weight heat resistant foam.
The gentleman that makes these can cut them to fit any hood. Just send him a template made from either an old shower curtain or thick paper.
He can also make just about any graphic you want.
Mine is held in place by high temp spray adhesive.
I think he's getting about $80.00 per unit.
Give him a call.

QSL--
He can make them with or without the center cut out. I sent him a template of what I wanted. When I got it I just had to fine tune the trim at one edge. but otherwise it fit perfect out of the box.
It cuts with a pair of household sheers or razor blade.
