Team III Wheels

Hey Guys,
For those of you that are running Team III "polished'' wheels, how well have they held up? Do you find yourself having to polish monthly to keep them looking good? I think I want to go with chrome wheels, but not finding what I want in the size I want. Any thoughts/comments regarding polished wheels, Team III or not would be much appreciated.

Todd

Mine are not on the road yet but plan to hit them with Sharkhide before rolling out. My hope is that it protects the shine and relieves me of constant polishing.

It depends on what look you want of course. Personally I don't care for chrome wheels on Cobras. The Team III wheels do take maintenance and if you are showing your cat, I suspect quite a bit of upkeep.

Mine is a driver and I polish only a couple of times a year. I like the look,
Arch

I agree with Arch. It really is a different look. I also prefer the polished aluminum look, but it's for sure more upkeep. Mine have held up perfectly, but they've spent most of their lives in my garage so far.

I had mine about 8 years before selling them. They held up fine and I never did anything but wash them when I wash the car. No polishing was necessary.

I've had mine almost ten years - still shiny. Polishing was a bit of a chore until I discovered this stuff: Metal Polish - Polish Metal, Chrome, Aluminum, Brass, Plastic | California Custom Products Inc.

It all depends on how much you use your car and the conditions you drive it in. Mine wont see rain so they stay pretty nice to begin with. It doesn't hurt to put a coat of polish on them every now and then. I'm a detail freak so every so often they come off and the back sides get cleaned and polished too. I really think they make the car.

my Team IIIs are 10 years old and 34,000 miles. I do not polish them. I use mild cleaners and soft rags to wipe dry.

They have a clear coat on them and you don't want to rub it off. Then you have to polish a lot.
