Best wishes in your retirement..... Max handled all of my Challenge car clutches and other driveline components for many years, and he was always a top notch person to work with....Honest, straight-shooter, with fair prices and stellar service...Thanks for being a great friend to the racing community Max!!!

As so many have said - Max was the man when it came to knowing the Ford Parts business and no one I knew could beat his prices. All the best to you Max and may these coming years be the most enjoyable of your life....

Max,

Thanks for all your help over the years, and enjoy your retirement.

But... aren't you supposed to move to Arizona when you retire, rather than from?

Good luck Max. I bought my 345 horse 302 from you back in '06 and it's been a great engine.

And I was kidding about that IPO thing. I think...

Thank you all for the wishes. I really did not want to retire but it was time. With the dealer changing hands and policys changing as well making it difficult to do things the "old" way, we decided to go BACK to Plattsburgh NY, after 14 years, to see the kids and 10 grandkids some of which we never met.

And Jim...while I do have a son named Mark, the Mark you refer to is my second cousin, and wish I was on staff helping him, I would have retired a lot sooner LOL!

So thanks again for the well wishes and I will be around from time to time...now we are in full packing mode for the move next Monday!

Max,
I also want to wish you well in your retirement. You earned and deserve it. You we're always a positive part of my day when I dealt with you for parts, and helped me get some parts that were tough to find. You will be missed. Hope you still hang around the forum.

Enjoy your retirement!!

Max,

Well deserved! Thank you for all your help in the past years. I bought countless number of parts from you including an engine and tranny. Enjoy your retirement.

If you haven't done so, have you contemplated building your own FFR?
You've got plenty of time.

Thanks for all of your help over the years. You have been a great asset!

If you are going to be up in Plattsburg please consider coming down to Lake George for the Summer Run event. It is always the weekend after the 4th of July. We always have a big group of FFR guys and gals.

Best wishes, Max,

Enjoy your retirement surrounded by your family. That what counts, & I am glad you are able to do it. That said, I confess that I will NOT be returning to W NY after I finish my retirement. I've had quite enough of that weather...

God bless,
Matt

Thank you Max! You were always ready to give out sound advice, and listen patiently to my newbie questions. Lots of parts in my roadster came from you, including it's heart.

Have a grate retirement, and keep in touch!

I going to "un-stick" this thread. The last post was on June 6th and traffic has dropped off.
