SRP - A master at work! -- Updated with more pics!
I haven't posted much in a while because I've been working on little things like seat heaters and interrior trim. But this winter I took the car down to Ken (SRP) and he's been doing a great job on the body work getting this rough car perfect. He just started in on the paint and sent along some great pictures of the fun progress.
Ken's been great to work with and gave me a break after the surprise that the paint color I picked is a 3 stage paint instead of 2 and even managed to work in pinstripes after a miscue that caused confusion. I should be picking it up in a week but I thought I'd share these progress pictures with my friends on the forum.
Ken is a master!

Reason: updated with more pics.
Everything I've ever heard about Ken has been positive. He does turn out some great looking cars, that's for sure.

Ken emailed me more pictures today. He taped off the car other than the pinstripe area, sprayed them black and then hit it all with another coat of clear. He even wheeled it out into the sun to get a great picture for me. Looks awesome! Can't wait to pick it up!

Hey Bret - dig on this pic, a bunch of us midwesterners are big time SRP advocates. This is ancient history but when you bring up Ken's name, it reminds me ---SRP rocks!

I actually picked it up a couple weekends ago but haven't had a chance to upload any photos until now. The pickup went fairly smooth with just an issue getting it started because the battery had died over the months. But a quick blast with the jumper cables and all was well. Here are a few pictures from the pickup.
It looks amazing and I have to go out to the garage frequently just to see how it looks painted. Any excuse to get a glimpse of the car :-).
Thanks again Ken!
