Cobra Earl (CobraEarl.com - Creature Comfort FFR Parts) makes one. Dark Water Custom was working on a design but I don't know if he's got it ready to market yet.

Try Breeze

Mine came from Breeze Automotive, but I don't know if they still have them. I'd call Mark & ask him. Very nice product, as is all of his stuff!

They are also a vendor, here, too.

+1000 for Cobra Earls- they work, are removable, and are comfy.

I also like how the headrest would break before my head breaks (Vs. one made with a steel back plate).

Not knocking any other product or design, but I'm fairly certain Cobra Earls is the only one that actually covers the roll bar tubes and not sits between them. I have his and it is removable with very strong Velcro straps. It works great, comfortable, and is quickly removed for that proper roll bar look at shows.

HTH...

I saw this at LCS earlier this year. I don't know who sells it, or if it was home-made. I liked it enough to take some photos.

I made these small round headrests a couple years ago, but never used them and have no idea what I did with them. (that happens when you get old!)

No pics of the finished product, just these mockups. I made the brackets out of heavy aluminum and attached them to the bars with industrial velcro. Made the pad out of 3/4" hardwood, put 1" thick foam on it and covered the whole thing with fake leather. When I was all done, I realized I didn't really like the look of headrests on these cars. To each his own.

As mentioned, Breeze used to supply this headrest, but I couldn't find it on his site just now:

Joe, that was my car at LCS. All of my accidents on the street have been where I have been rear ended. I wanted a way to protect my head from the roll bar, so I fabricated the one you showed. The basic design uses 1/4" aluminum plate with roll bar padding covered with foam and leather. I am trying to get some covers sewn that more closely match the ribbing of the seats. I'll keep you posted.

These are mine:

There were made by a builder in Galt CA but I think that they would be easy to replicate. They use the "X-brace" from Finishline, an aluminum plate, two motorcycle handlebar mirror mounts, some foam, wood for a base and vinyl.

What type of metal did you use to wrap around the rollbars?
