GREAT to see all of you guys during your lunch stop in Garden City on Saturday!

Colors in Logan Canyon and around Bear Lake are phenomenal!

Gotta get mine finished ....

Took it in for the state required safety inspection.
Passed inspection, got the sticker, headed to registration and title next.

Wow Doug, that is some beautiful country. The leaves here in Pa are spectacular also but not quite that far along.

Got it titled and registered.
I'm legally on the road and it feels GREAT!

I've been looking forward to this day for almost 3 years and I can say for sure it's been worth the wait.

Still have a number of things to do before it's totally finished but at least I can drive it around in the meantime.

That is beautiful, nice Job! I thought about a tilt front but chickened out. It was a challenge to just get the body straight enough to paint let alone cut it apart like you did. I'm just starting to drive mine also but the weather is going south in Pa.

above: Kenny832 and his car that he just picked up from monkeydad in NorCal...

i had a rip-roaring riot working on someone else's car.... having gone thru three clutch cables myself, i knew exactly what to do. we fixed this in no time and went for a little spin.

there are loads of little things to do, gonna be fun!

Just done: replaced clutch cable, torqued lug nuts, tighten head light clips, replaced MassFlo sensors, CLEANED her, rerouted some electrical cables and DROVE it!

Honey Do List:
oil/filter change, check tranny fluids, check diff fluids, grease all grease fittings, wire up license plate light, seal the cabin from engine compartment, fix brake lights, clear fender guard, foot box vent, buff out swirls in paint, check/weld loop ring into place, get better brake pads, replace batter cut off switch, ceramic coat side pipes, and chrome/install quick jacks.

Want to buy:
NorthRacecars 17"x8 & 17"x10 halibrand style wheels, power steering, floor mats, steering wheel emblem!

I think that's it for now...

Latest mods are pulling the supercharger for a turbo and adding Whitby's power brakes (I can finally say I'm happy with the way the car stops).

Hoping to hit the dyno next week.

It's currently sitting in the garage resting up, and serving as a horizontal surface for rags, boxes, tools, old shirts, etc.....

But, the next three weekends, it will be used hard.

This weekend - Annual Covered Bridge tour hosted by Rich Gelinas

Next weekend - 3rd Annual North East regional SAAC Meet - Hershey PA - 80 mile tour through the mountains of PA

Oct 27 & 27 NASA NE Halloween Bash - two days of open track. I plan on beating it sensless, as it's the last outing for the car this year.

And if it's still begging for more, maybe a drive in the snow again over the Winter!

Talking First Go-Kart! wahoo!

Almost 60* in St. Louis today.
Got my O2 sensor clearance resolved and re-installed the headers.

(my wife just doesn't appreciate this car! "It's awful noisy"
well, at least she held the camera for me)

I gotta get rid of that squeal, it's driving me crazy. It's the idler pulley, which I'm removing when I connect the PS pump.

Can't stop grinning!

I mounted the Tangent driving lights today in the lower opening, very easy and looks great. The switch comes with a on- off- on. One side are the little blue ' marker' lights and the other are the 'driving' lights ... I'm gonna try to wire them to a off-on-on, so I can get the blues as parking lights and the fogs w the headlights...

As dr. McCoy once said: "It's dead, Jim"

Walked past it in the garage, under the cover, stuff piled on it, silent.

it's broken and not moving. Probably shredded another clutch when racing it end of October. Have to pull the trans and clutch. Maybe Black Friday instead of shopping......

Swapped out the "rubber plunger" shift boot for the Michael Everson boot and I'm working on the AC pedal swap. Almost 60 tomorrow afternoon, if I get off work early I'm going for a ride!

Brake Lines

I cleaned the garage today to motivate myself to work on the roadster.

Then smoked a cigar and had a beer with a friend.

Finally, installed a whopping 55" of stainless brake line from front left to front right.

At this blistering pace I will certainly be done soon with my build

Made a template for the one piece radiator aluminum panel. Swapped back and forth between the low back seats and my Corbeaus trying to decide which to use which relied heavily on coming up with a way to mount the Corbeaus. Hatched on a plan on that and then stared at my hood hinges until I figured out how I want to mount them. Now I need to decide what to do about the ebrake because the Corbeaus block the factory mount. Oh and earlier in the week I reset the idle for the new IAC and finally got rid of the surge and stall YAAAAAAY!

Had a couple friends over from the club and resolved my right turn signal problem (Ford Probe Flasher Relay was shorted out) and set to body on the go-kart for the first time.

Even though the weather sucked (snowed last night), I really enjoyed the day!
Thanks Again Rich, Dan, and Mark.

Engine is back

Me and my boys picked up our rebuilt engine and did a dry fit of some of the major components.

I realized the headers were on backwards after taking the photo.

Not looking forward to changing plugs with the GT40P heads...

Played with the doors and finished one of my custom bear claw latches. Played with a different pair of seats and the set of Convincors roll bars. The wife is going all safety police about the shorter roll bars. Grrrr

Attached the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and transmission. Re-did the fuel lines. Installed a new fuel pump and starter solenoid. Hope to re-install the engine tomorrow.

(Had to pull the motor in October and send it back to Ford Racing again)
