Thumbs up Combine the top two...

Silver with Red Strips, like the FFR '65 Coupe (see FFR website under Coupe Photos). I realy like that combo. Best of both worlds!!

I had always been in the blue with white stripes camp until I started lurking here. Now the silver with anthracite and a pinstripe on each side is my new favorite, just like picture #1.

if your wife doesn't like the silver, absolutely, positively get something fancy for the stripes, maybe a candy color.

there is a silver car with metallic maroon stripes out there and it's one of my favorites.

This is all about personnel taste, so IMO the silver and block stripes would look best with the other parts you have selected.

However, if you want an option for an different blue here is one,

Bright Atlantic Blue with GM White strip. Not sure how your other parts will look with this though. My "accessories" look pretty good to me.

The Final color is...

Time to close out this thread!

The winner was mostly #1, with a bit of #2, 3 & 4 mixed in. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?

I finally chose the Silver as my base color, blue pearl for the stripes, and a deep red for Team Stripes.

I actually painted it myself, in the garage, and just finished it tonight. What a long process this was...but now I can say that 100% of the car was built and done by yours truly.

Scott

That looks great!
I just love the look of freshly painted cars that haven't been cleared yet. The Suede-ish appearance just looks so awesome.

What colors are you requesting??
The silver with blue stripes or the Dark grey with silver stripes???

If it's Scott's car, the silver is Honda Alabaster silver, the red is Honda San Marino red, and the blue is also a Honda color, (I think).
If you dig in stl_scott body thread, you will find it.

If you are requesting Ron's car RE63, I believe that is a Mazda color called tungsten...

Best thing for you is to send either one of these guys a PM, both are very helpful guys and will respond.

Please Graduate FFR # 6583 (Grad 28)

Copy paste from Scott graduation
Last but not least - All of the paint and body work was done by ME! - The paint was completed Memorial Day weekend 2010.

The colors are 2009 Honda - Alabaster Silver Metallic, Belize Blue Pearl, San Marino Red (I work for Honda R&D so what can you say... I like the colors)
